Skye Schoenhoeft is a filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in the California Bay Area, her work weaves mixed media, analog technologies, and experimental techniques to build narrative stories. Looking at life through a queer lens, they explore identity and connection with writing that intentionally avoids exploitative trauma. Skye has received two National Student Emmy awards and screened work in renowned festivals, including The Mill Valley Film Festival, NFFTY, and Reel Loud.
