Rules & Terms

1. Eligibility
The Sisters In Music Songwriting Contest is open to songwriters worldwide.

Songs can be written by individuals or songwriting teams (maximum of 3 co-writers per entry).
Submitted songs must be original and not contain any copyrighted material from third parties.
2. Submission Guidelines
Songs must be in MP3 format and accompanied by a lyrics sheet (PDF or Word doc).
All genres welcomed
3. Judging Criteria
Songs will be judged based on:
✅ Lyrics & Storytelling – Originality, depth, and emotional impact.
✅ Melody & Composition – Structure, arrangement, and memorability.
✅ Creativity & Uniqueness – Innovation and distinctiveness in the songwriting process.
✅ Overall Impact – The song’s ability to connect with an audience.

Social media promotion and honorable mention in Sisters In Music Magazine.
Consideration for future SIM showcases & events.

5. Terms & Conditions
By submitting, you grant Sisters In Music (SIM) the right to feature your song in promotional content, including social media, newsletters, and website features.
All song rights remain with the songwriter(s). SIM does not claim ownership of any submitted works.
Entries must be original and free from plagiarism or copyright infringement.
SIM reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not adhere to the contest rules.
Winners will be notified via email and announced on SIM’s website and social media.
