Thriving on creating new story worlds populated with intriguing characters, I believe in the power of storytelling and the shared experience of film.
With a degree in English Literature and Film and Television, my partner and I founded Guildhall Pictures in 2009. Since then I have written, produced and script supervised numerous short films. I have written two genre strong feature length scripts, the first of which was completed in 2019 and is currently submitting to Film Festivals. Entitled ‘The Passenger’ it is the first film in the planned British Thrillogy.
As a writer In the world of narrative fiction, I have won the Camden City of Stories competition with my short 'Night Tube' and was longlisted for the 'Oh Zoe' children’s book competition. I have also just completed a collection of short stories entitled Small Dark Spaces, which explore the fragility of mind and perception.
Contributing film reviews for publications, I have covered screenings for both indie gems and major studio films. Striving to support independent creatives, I launched my website ‘Try the other guy’ to highlight talent that people may have not yet discovered.
Over the years, having built an amazing collective of talented professionals at Guildhall Pictures, the future of our storytelling is vibrant, exciting and truly indie spirited.
