After completed a Higher Diploma in Film & Media Studies in 2011, I have spent most of the years since then as a local videographer. I started a 'one-man-band' production company shooting commercials, corporate events and weddings.
Since 2018, I have mainly focussed on wedding filmmaking, shooting up to 50 weddings per year across Ireland.
Along the way I did venture into producing short community based informational films, delving into environmental, social and political issues that affect local people. These were entirely self funded and I produced them voluntarily for the community groups involved.
In 2024 I took the decision to step into the professional filmmaking arena and start producing independent documentary films. My first short documentary "The Last of the Hand Weavers" is currently on the film festival circuit and I hope to update this bio when it picks up some awards.
