I write riveting dramas and thrillers for film and television - the kind that start conversations at the water cooler. My goal is to shine a light on inclusive stories and characters that I would have loved to read and see growing up.
My strongest belief is that storytelling enlivens humanity's ability to connect. I've been a writer since I self-published James Bond parody comics with my friends in the second grade. Writing dialogue for B-Movie King Roger Corman was my break in the business and since then, I've worn a lot of different hats.
On paper, I'm a writer, editor, teacher, media/image coordinator, and creative consultant. I've curated media campaigns for the SAG Awards, the Patron of the Artists Awards, Storyline Online, and For Your Consideration panels. Behind the scenes, I've contributed to the pre-production process of films and series on STARZ, Lifetime, SyFy, and Hallmark. You may have seen my writing in People, Deadline, Broadway World, or your local senator's campaign ad.
Beyond the industry, I wrote ABCS of Empathy (abcsofempathy.com), an award-winning children's book. I lead creative writing and storytelling workshops for gifted middle and high school students. I've also hosted casting and audition workshops with CSA certified casting directors and SAG-AFTRA union performers. If you're looking to get married, I'm a licensed minister.
At my core, I'm an introvert who loves reading books and watching movies with my husband and two dogs. Still, my desire to take in new experiences and undiscovered knowledge is an innate part of who I am. I'm a forever learner who welcomes new insights and conversationalists. I live by two rules: love is love, and the truth is the truth.

If I had the chance to adapt an existing IP, I would write a spin-off of Lost or a grounded revamp of The OC. I'd also love to write an episode of Black Mirror.
