In early 2013, Sidow disclosed his battle with bipolar disorder and depression, opting for a life management approach that omitted medication. In 2019, Sidow Sobrino married his partner, Richard Sidow-Sobrino, in a private ceremony held at The Little Vegas Chapel in Las Vegas, NV. Their celebration included attending a live Cher show at the MGM Grand Hotel. The Sidow Sobrino family divides their time between the United States and Europe.
