He was born in Nizip in 1967. He completed his primary and secondary education in Nizip. He graduated from Military High School in 1984. He retired from the Turkish Armed Forces in 2012. He graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics. He started his first writing experience by writing short stories in military high school. His stories have been published in various magazines and digital platforms. He is the screenwriter and director of the short films "Encounter" and "Iz". Sıddık Sert, whose novel "The Dark Side of the Moon" met with readers in 2021, "Velvet Wedding Dress" story book in 2022, and "Déjà Vu" novel in 2023, continues to work in the field of stories, novels and cinema.
