My animation journey started with four years of undergraduate study in China, where I built a solid base in narrative structure, character design, and visual storytelling. Later, I continued my path in Japan, earning a Master’s degree in Animation and broadening my artistic practice as well as my theoretical vision.
What excites me most is exploring how narrative animation can dance between artistic imagination and realism. I love weaving in social and cultural themes—sometimes through playful visual metaphors, sometimes through symbolic transformations or character deformations—to uncover the hidden emotions and inner worlds of people.
For me, animation isn’t just an art form; it’s a universal language that crosses cultures and connects hearts. Sharing my work at this film festival is both a joy and an honor, and I hope my films can spark even the smallest moment of resonance with the audience, like a bridge between people and the world.
