Shorts in Winter is a gem on the shore of Lake Superior. This festival is pure passion by those who put it on. I was genuinely impressed by the selections and the programming...engaging throughout. I appreciate the selection and the opportunity to screen Wired To Inspire.

Incredible festival to be apart of! As a first-time filmmaker, it was very welcoming and showcased a wide variety of shorts (from documentaries, to animation, to horror...). Matt and Jamie were extremely organized and did a a great job highlighting local creators - I can't recommend enough!!

This is a fantastic Minnesota centric film festival! Matt and Jamie have put together a great festival and were wonderful hosts. I've been to dozens of film festivals as both a filmmaker and audience member and the Shorts in Winter Festival had some of the best programming I've ever seen. Please don't let the newness of the fest discourage you. If your a MN filmmaker with a short I highly recommend you submit and attend if you can.
