The SFSF โ€“ Elvira Coda Notari Award 2026 is an international film prize dedicated to schools and young filmmakers, created to promote audiovisual language as a powerful educational, creative, and cultural tool.

The award is named after Elvira Coda Notari, the first Italian woman director, a visionary figure who transformed cinema into a means of social storytelling, giving voice to everyday life, marginal communities, and women.

The 2026 edition continues this legacy by encouraging new generations to explore cinema as a space for expression, experimentation, and critical reflection, celebrating originality, teamwork, and the ability to tell meaningful stories about the present.
