About Shepherd's House International Film Festival
SHEPHERD'S HOUSE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is a non-profit Award-giving body.
Our primary objective is to encourage film makers to use their God given talents in creating films which convey good positive human traits and values , convey the goodness of the Lord God and the good news of salvation through Christ Jesus.

IT IS NOW ON IT’S 5th YEAR, and starts accepting entries for it's 4th season!

ABOUT the Organizer Head:
Rev.Mon Gabriel is a Carlos Palanca Awardee Writer, Christian Film Director and TV Movie actor , and an Associate Pastor of FLCCPI.

He is a member of FDCP Film Development Council of the Philippines. (FDCP is governed under The Philippine Government)

He is also a member of Film Academy of the Philippines Screenwriters Guild.
He is one of the evaluators/voters representing the screenwriter's guild for 2020, the 38th Luna Awards of Film Academy of the Philippines for Best Picture and Best Screenplay category.

He was the Team Head Organizer of GMP Christian Film Festival.

Mechanics:

1.All entries must be submitted through FilmFreeway. https://filmfreeway.com/ShepherdsHouseInternationalFilmFestival

2. All films must have a running time including credits of minimum 10 minutes to maximum 30 minutes (Regular entries) and 15 mins below ( For Micro short films)
3. Films should convey good positive human traits and values , and/or the goodness of the Lord and/or the good news of salvation through Christ Jesus.
4. Entries filmed with the use of any camera (digital, mobile, pro-cam ) is acceptable as long as the film itself is clear and of good quality.
5. Entry fee non-refundable.

6. We will accept entries from November 10, 2023 until November 15, 2024.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening (including but not limited to multiple screenings in multiple International locations), and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Shepherd's House International Film Festival and its whole team and group from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

Do not send any discs or files to us. Online materials via FilmFreeway are good enough for now. We select and screen around 20-50 films a year. If you are selected we'll ask you for a copy of the film (in case we need clearer copy) and permission to use it for festival and screening purposes.

7. Winner's will be announced on the award's night on November 11, 2024 which will be held in Great Eastern Hotel or FDCP Cinemateque or other venue. depending on availability and situation.

For The 4th year's Festival 2023-2024
We will be giving the following awards based on the following criteria:

Award: BEST PICTURE (Best Feature Short Film)

Clarity of Message 40%
Over-all film production Quality 40%
Excellence 20%

Criteria:
Excellence 100%

Selection process:

1. Elimination to 20-50 selected films after judges screening of all entries,

2. Selection of Finalist for nomination of all awards based on the top 20-50 films by around 20 judges led by Head Judges.

3. The selected films copyright owners (producers) will submit a letter stating ownership of the film for the festival screenings.

These selected films will be shown on the day of the festival in the selected venue (Great Eastern Hotel/ or FDCP Videoteque/ or other venues) by the SHIFF (except during unfavorable condition like pandemic, natural and man-made disasters)

(Note: Judges will be well-respected film actors, directors, writers and Pastors and film makers..

Producers will be notified on the status of their entries via e-mail.)

NOTE: Winners will shoulder their own expenses in case they want to attend the actual awarding, as well as the shipping fees of trophy and actual certificates.
