Born in Stockton and raised against the backdrop of the East Bay in Fremont, California, my early life was defined by exploration. I spent my youth traversing local hiking trails and the outdoors, often feeling as though I was living out a scene from Stand By Me. That sense of wonder became the foundation of my creative voice; today, my work is driven by a desire to recapture that specific feeling of childhood discovery for my audience.
My journey behind the camera began in my teenage years, but the true spark ignited in 2009. Sitting in a theater watching James Cameron’s Avatar, I witnessed the limitless potential of cinema to transport and transform. From that moment, I dedicated myself to the study of the art form.
I honed my technical skills early on as a lead editor and producer for my high school’s broadcast program. My academic path led me to De Anza Community College, where I immersed myself in the Film program and served as Club President, before transferring to the University of California, Irvine to further master my craft. Alongside my studies, I cut my teeth on set, working as a Production Assistant on various professional and student productions. Since graduating film school in 2020, I have continued to work across multiple film departments, constantly expanding my brand and evolving as a storyteller. I am driven by a singular goal: to craft stories that not only unite audiences across generations and backgrounds but also fundamentally shift the way we view our shared human experience.
