Shacolby Shentell is a writer who has expressed her talents through poetry, skits, music, stage plays and short films such as Sincerely Judy, an impactful short film about a failing marriage that depicts the reality of what is happening in many homes nationwide since the Pandemic. Shacolby has co-written Houston’s stage play, This Ring Doesn’t Fit, and is gearing up for her next stage play Living it up with Ida Vaughn. Her writing talents have allowed her audience to engage in plots pertaining to life, love, pain, beauty, relationships, family and friendships, through her well written and enticing dramas and comedies.

Shacolby’s years of acting experience has allotted her various opportunities to display her phenomenal acting skills in both supporting and leading roles. She has appeared in many productions from TV series 5th Ward, the film Priorities, television cable show Men Talk Women Listen, and many stage plays such as award winning play When Temptation Comes and A Few Good Men. She was recognized in Voyage Houston Magazine as one of Houston’s multi-talented stars on the move.
