Born in Ankara. Holds a B.A in Archaeology and Art History and an MA in Film and TV and still enrolled in a PhD program on Media and Design. Worked in various film and documentary projects in Turkey, Italy and the US. Attended Sarajevo Talents as a screenwriter. Her short films Time of the Plums (2012), Elene (2016) and A Hard Day in the Empire were screened and awarded in various national and international film festivals including Tribeca, BFI London, Montreal World, Cinemed, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Sofia International FF.
