As an undergraduate majoring in psychology I studied religious cults and as a Ph.D student I earned my doctorate writing a dissertation on the subject of "Psychic Readers Of Human Energy." My films The Fifth Avenue Phenomena and From Lies To Truth are the latest step in my journey to understand why and how people join cults and come to believe strongly in ideas that are clearly disconnected from reality. My music video, Blinders On/Blinders Off addresses the same subject, but in the context of a music video.
My documentary, Complexity, Evolution, and Intelligence draws on the latest scientific research, exploring the origins of intelligence and the origins of the universe itself. This is a story of time and space, matter and energy. It is a story of unfolding, It’s the story of how the very nature of the physical universe from its very inception led to the universe getting to know itself and eventually, to reflect. One Voice is a music video, celebrating diversity and overcoming adversity.
To round things off , my short films Strata and Splendors In The Glass represent a genre that I don't think otherwise exists: erotic music videos.
Making films/videos is a way of expressing myself and connecting. It is a path of discovery and exploration, both outward and inward. The creative process is tremendously rewarding. I have no ambitions of monetary gain, just the hope that I am creating films that I feel proud of and other people find valuable, entertaining, and illuminating.
