Sebastian Parra is a 22-year-old filmmaker originally from Colombia that now resides in Boston, MA. Sebastian’s artistic path started in high school when he joined a Radio and Broadcast class, and then joined photography classes at the Institute of Contemporary Art, ultimately taking the step from still images to the moving picture. Sebastian’s focus is the showcase of people’s stories and their true selves. With an immigration background, Sebastian thrives to represent those unheard stories of people whose voice has been muted and allow them a platform to come forward and shine through with their culture, life experiences, and identity. Sebastian is set to graduate from Lesley University in May 2023 with a degree in Digital Filmmaking and a minor in Graphic Design, and his goal is to move to Los Angeles and work in Hollywood in a pursuit to continue telling stories.
