Scott Olsen is a writer-director currently exploring his very new home of Brooklyn. He gained the majority of his film schooling growing up in the local movie theater he would eventually reopen himself years later. Scott’s writing has always led him to exploring the humors of the real world with larger-than-life characters.

His work has been recognized by Scriptapalooza, Roadmap Writers, and the Austin Film Festival, where he won the Comedy Teleplay Spec Award in 2025. While his passion will always be with storytelling, he takes great pride in still holding the Hillsborough Little League record for most walks by a left-handed batter ages 9 to 12!
