Scott Johnson is a Canadian video artist and filmmaker from Regina, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the University of Regina with a BFA in cinema and video production, with a concentration on time-based media.
His video work has been exhibited in a number of venues, including micro cinemas and local film festivals such as the Regina International Film Festival and Awards (RIFFA) and the Yorkton Film Festival, to name a few. His work has been shown internationally, notably at the Vegas Movie Awards, Atlanta Film Festival, Das Filmfest, and Antimatter [Media Art]. He now serves on the board of directors and as the production committee chairman for the Saskatchewan Filmpool cooperative.
He/him has now gone on to write and direct a number of films, including an international award-winning short "Follow Leader" in 2019, critically acclaimed "Hard Reset" in 2020, and RIFFA nominated "Like Us" in 2021.
