Scope Screenings is Seattle’s #1 underground film festival, hosted by LexScope, showcasing and uplifting underrepresented voices through narrative short films, music videos, and high-quality short-form content on the big screen in front of a live audience.
With over 300 monthly attendees, Scope Screenings stands apart from any other film festival worldwide. Instead of cramming all our incredible artists into a chaotic week, we spread our festival across monthly events from June to December, giving each film the spotlight it deserves.
Our festival has grown into a major cultural event, featuring Grammy-nominated artists, Emmy Award-winning production teams, and a diverse mix of celebrities, WNBA players, elected officials, and influential filmmakers and artists. We’ve also partnered with SIFF to host screenings at the historic SIFF Egyptian Theatre and are curatorial partners of the Seattle Black Film Festival.
Each event starts with a networking hour at 6 PM, bringing together industry professionals, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, and creatives in a laid-back, lounge-style atmosphere before the films begin at 7 PM.
Our Mission & Vision:
Scope Screenings is built for filmmakers, by filmmakers—a space dedicated to showcasing and uplifting underrepresented voices while fostering creative collaboration and community. Our goal is to champion diverse storytelling, provide a platform for emerging talent, and build a thriving independent film scene in Seattle and beyond.
At Scope Screenings, the experience is simple:
Watch movies. Meet people. Have fun.
