Sari Applefeld is a 2022 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Moving-Image Production, Screenwriting, and Film Studies. She is currently a Production Agent Assistant at Innovative Artists Talent and Literary Agency, as well as a freelance creative.

Her work has screened at various local festivals and national showcases. Her animated short TXT (2020) won the Audience Choice Award at the 2021 Mad Royal Film Festival. Additionally, her documentary film The Comic Collective (2019) screened at DigiEYE 2020, and non-fungible (2021) was one of 12 student films across the country selected for SEFF Binghamton 2021.
