Sarah is an award-winning filmmaker and Guggenheim Fellow from Louisville, Kentucky and an Associate Professor of Film at Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, California. Her no-budget films critique techno-utopianism with absurdist humor. She has screened internationally at festivals such as Slamdance, Ann Arbor, Big Sky, Cucalorus, deadCenter, 25 FPS Film Festival, and the London Short Film Festival. Her films have received glowing reviews from RogerEbert.com, Film Threat, and the Washington Post and are distributed on the Slamdance Channel and NoBudge. She holds an MFA from Yale School of Art and was a resident at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
