Born & raised in New York City, Samantha began studying drama as an actor at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Her theater training continued at Hunter College, Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre ('16), and London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (Shakespeare, '18). In addition, she has trained with mentor and Physical Lab teacher, Yorgos Karamalegos in UK and Paris.
She worked on Marvel's Iron Fist as a recurring role alongside Jessica Henwick with directors Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones) and Deborah Chow (Mandalorian).
Tales of a Shadowboxer marks her directorial debut in collaboration with producer/writer Sharif McFadden which won Best TV Pilot and Best Women Short at Independent Shorts Award (Los Angeles). In addition, it premiered on the east coast at Queens Underground Film Festival.
In 2023, she co-directed and associate produced the short film, HEIGHTS with writer, Lucy Sarasin.
SAINT VEGAS, a short film, she wrote/directed had its World Premiere at the 2025 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and was a quarter-finalist for The Chimaera's To.Get.Her Finishing Fund.
Aside from acting & directing, she works at her alma mater at The Neighborhood Playhouse, teaches yoga and runs a Filipino food pop-up business with her partner, Tikman Mo Ko 'Taste Me'.
