Sam Levine is a filmmaker based in New York City, currently attending school as a Junior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His love for filmmaking came from a young age while living in Atlanta, GA. Every weekend he would go to the movies with his father and escape into the silver screen. While studying he also works at the NYU production center renting out equipment to fellow classmates, as well as being an assistant camera for Thesis films and commercials. In higschool a film he co-wrote and DP'd was selected into a festival and a film he edited won best editing at the Atlanta Highschool Film Festival. His love for horror stemmed from his grandfather's obsession with scares and gore.
Sam hopes to start his career with his first independent film 'Don't Look' and some day join his favorites such as Jordan Peele, David Cronenberg, and Darren Aronofsky.
