Sally Ngoiri is a Kenyan filmmaker, writer, and producer working across film, television, documentaries, and podcasts. She is the founder of Kick Ass Films, a production company focused on developing bold African stories while creating pathways for women and youth to access hands-on training and professional opportunities in the film industry.
She has written for some of Kenya’s top television dramas, including Shanga and Salem, and has produced content for platforms such as Showmax, Maisha Magic Plus, and Docubox. Her work explores social impact, identity, gender, culture, and environmental themes, with a strong emphasis on character-driven storytelling.
Sally is an alumnus of the New York Film Academy, Multichoice Talent Factory East Africa, Kenyatta University, Henley Business School, and the Durban FilmMart. Her recent projects span narrative films, documentaries, and podcasting, often interrogating ethics, legacy, and community.
Through Kickass Films, she is committed to nurturing the next generation of African storytellers through mentorship, industry exposure, and practical production experience.
