Salil Jason Fernandez is a Mumbai-based writer-director and London Film School alumnus whose work spans fiction, non-fiction, and advertising. His short films “The Mole”, “Khauff”, and “Abandoned” have earned nominations at prestigious festivals including IFFI, SIFF and Filmfare. He also directed the television film “Phir Se” for MTV and the viral docu-drama “The Tails of Boo-Boo and Cuddly Poo,” featuring a host of Indian celebrities. Known for his cinematic eye and genre-fluid storytelling, SJF balances sharp craft with emotional depth. He currently leads a writing team developing feature-length screenplays across genres - from mystery and action to dark comedy and psychological horror. “Xarax” marks his latest foray into visceral, high-concept genre filmmaking.
