Sacramento Midnight Film Festival is a genre film festival specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, underground, and all around bizarre films from around the globe. We champion original voices, unique perspectives, and inventive filmmaking. We are committed to supporting ground-breaking, provocative films that give Sacramento audiences a chance to see work that challenges, inspires, and amazes.

Rules & Terms

- Running time for all feature films must be 70 minutes or more.
- Running time for all shorts must be less than 20 minutes.
- Selected films must be delivered via digital file.
- Film submissions in a foreign language must be subtitled in English.
- If submitting more than one film, a separate completed entry is required for each title.
- All films must have been completed after 2023.
