A wonderful festival! Hugely committed to a variety of approaches to cinema, and the interactions with the filmmakers and support provided were incredibly generous. Although I participated virtually, the festival atmosphere was palpable in the communications involved, and there was a sense of friendliness, intelligence, and excellent organisation. I was so impressed, and it was an absolute privilege to participate.

  • The SHIFT Team did an incredible job with their hybrid event. Not only was there an in person screening, they were also extremely mindful and engaged with the online screenings and engaged the filmmakers on multiple levels, including workshops - which not many festivals offer at this level.

They also do great Case Studies with the individual films which they host on their website, which is just a great idea!

We felt very well taken care of and felt so lucky to be a part of this great festival!

SHIFT Film Festival is wonderful and I was honored that my film "SPELL" was selected. I was impressed by the festival program, both in-person and online! The SHIFT Film Festival team put together an inspiring event for people who love cinema and want to learn more about its industry.

SHIFT Film Festival created a great online experience and promoted a nice opportunity to connect with many talented people during the pandemic. It was a pleasure to participate with my experimental documentary "Raam" ("Window").
