The St. John's Film Festival is an international festival. It is hosted by the Society of Film & Visual Arts (SFVA) at St. John's University, Queens Campus, encouraging short films and

a new section, Short Film scripts!

The person who achieves first place in our five categories (narrative, experimental, documentary, animation, and screenplay) will receive a personalized trophy with their name and category and certificate. We will not be awarding cash prizes because this is a student-run festival based on St. John's University policies.

Rules
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE STUDENTS ENROLLED AT A UNIVERSITY/ COLLEGE. ONLY 1 SUBMISSION CAN BE ENTERNED INTO THE FESTIVAL PER PERSON.
When submitting you must use your student or personal email. All submissions must be original, and the sole property of the applicant. To submit a film, you must state what category your film is under and MUST BE within 30 minutes to UNDER 30 pages.
On the day of the festival, we do not require at-door identification.

We expect theater etiquette for ALL attendees when watching films and consuming provided concessions. As St. John's University students, we want to uphold a cordial and safe environment for students to present their hard work.

FEES
Earlybird submissions are $10 for everyone
Student/SJU fee: $15
Regular: $3 for SJU and $5 for non SJU students
Late/extended submissions: $5 SJU and $8 non SJU students

SJU Students: $8
General Admission: $10 at the Door

Seating is available on a first come first serve basis, aside from designated reserved seats.
