CELEBRATING ITS 13TH YEAR: The Student Experimental Film Festival (SEFF) is an exposition dedicated to exhibiting short, innovative films and videos made by students enrolled in institutions across the US. Held annually in Binghamton, NY, the two-day festival focuses on experimental, student-made works that challenge the conventional cinematic experience. The event is organized and conducted by students enrolled in the Curating Film and Video course at Binghamton University.

Awards to be determined by a guest juror.

-Entrant must be enrolled in an academic institution in the United States as a graduate or undergraduate student at the time of work's completion
-Work must be completed during the last academic year (Fall 2021 & Spring/Summer 2022)
-Submissions must be under 30 minutes in length
-We accept digital movie formats, 8mm film, and 16mm film
-Please provide a synopsis of work under 100 words
-To be considered, please include the work's completion date and academic institution you are attending/attended at the time of completion in the COVER LETTER when submitting
