Ruslan İbrahimli (b. 25 April 1999, Gazakh, Azerbaijan) is an award-winning director, screenwriter, animator and producer who founded his independent production company Ruslan İbrahimli Film Studio in March 2018 at the age of 19.
Working across live-action, traditional and digital animation, and cutting-edge AI-assisted cinema, Ruslan has written, directed and produced more than 30 short films, animated works, music videos and series episodes. His films have been officially selected to over 70 international and national film festivals and competitions in 30+ countries including the United Kingdom, United States, India, Türkiye, Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Taiwan, South Korea, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Canada, Peru, Jamaica and Japan.

Ruslan is a former board member, website & social media manager and regional coordinator of the Azerbaijan Animation Association (AAA). In 2024–2025 he successfully implemented the grant-winning educational project “Pixar in a Box: Introducing Animation Courses in Azerbaijani Schools” funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.
He continues his formal education in Health Sciences (Bachelor’s degree) at the accredited American University of the People (2025–present) while actively developing new feature-length and serial projects that combine social impact, psychological depth and innovative visual language.
Ruslan İbrahimli’s works are regularly broadcast on Azerbaijani national and regional TV channels (KÖNÜL TV, ELTV) and continue to represent contemporary Azerbaijani independent cinema on the global festival circuit.
