Rose is a Pinay lesbian, mother, producer/director, artistic curator, creative strategist and community artivist. Her work is grounded by her lived experience and over 30 years (un)learning, navigating, and advocating for social equity and justice with diverse communities.
Rose graduated in Film Studies at the University of Toronto and worked as an independent Director/Producer with Isis Productions, with works screened at TIFF and Hot Docs. Rose spent the next 30 developing strong strategic skills in the not-for-profit management and arts sector. Decades later, Rose returned as the Executive Producer of Min Sook Lee’s film Migrant Dreams. As a Producer/Director, Rose has several creative projects in development.
Rose is committed to creating a strong digital platform that provides a voice for people and communities on social issues that are important to shaping a more equitable world.
