Ronin Wong is a filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. He has been an actor for over 20 years, playing everything from man servants, to underworld crime bosses, on film and television. After a lifetime of hesitation, Ronin finally took the plunge by making his first short film last year (2018). It was an all inclusive experience which included writing, financing, directing, composing, and most important of all, driving the van. This debut film, “Eight Short Films About Cell Phones” was selected to be part of MAMM (Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon). In the future, Ronin hopes to be able to make more short films and eventually feature films as well. When not working on a film, Ronin loves to indulge in boardgames, Dungeons and Dragons, and chocolate in every shape and form.
