Roma Sur is a screenwriter and documentary filmmaker, residing in Denver, Colorado. Sur has served as an Executive Producer on two award-winning web series, and directed and produced four award-winning documentaries.
Her stories are young adult and female driven dramas with levity, that are a cross-pollination of her immigrant experience of living in the US for twenty years, and her childhood in India. Her works have screened globally at Mumbai International Film Festival, NDTV, Golden Door International Film Festival, Breckenridge Film Festival, Global India Film Festival and many more.
Her most recent documentary, Three Worlds One Stage, is currently available on iTunes, Amazon and twelve digital platforms. It is distributed by Freestyle Digital Media.
Her recent feature screenplay, The Rock Within, was a second rounder at the Sundance Asian American lab, an invited project at the Stowe Story Labs and Stowe Spring Retreat, and acknowledged by Screencraft’s Funding contest as well as India’s leading pitch market, Film Bazaar.
