Roisín De Brún lives in Rush, Co. Dublin. She was involved in the Irish theatre scene with YPB theatre and Fourwalls productions in the early 2000s and is a full equity member. She made her directorial debut with Tony Kushner's Angels in America Part 1 in the Dublin Fringe Festival (1999). Roisín also writes and her poetry and flash fiction pieces have been published in many publications; credits include The Irish Times, Galway Review, Stony Thursday Book, The Ragaire Literary Journal. Roisín has expanded her writing practice to include short screenplays.

Her short screenplay, Wireless, which received finalist status in the 2024 Cambridge Script Festival is out in the world and looking for collaborators to help bring it to the screen.
