My name is Robert Hakobyan. I was born on July 20, 1996 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Since the school years I liked the urban life of Yerevan. I was a roller skates and I used to shoot skate videos with my friends. After that I got interested in shooting, filmmaking and everything that is connected with these two. After finishing school in 2013, I started to study Film Directing in the Faculty of Cinematography at YSITC (Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography). After a year I went to the Army (2014-2016) in Nagorno Karabagh. The most important thing that I saw during those two years, was the 4 Day War that started in April 2, 2016. It had a great impact on me. After serving in the army, I returned to the Institute and started to shot a lot of works, such as freelancing as editor, cameraman, gaffer and every type of profession that has any connection with Cinema. I also shot music clips and fashion videos. During the third year of my studies I created a short film called "Last BULLET". You were the first who I sent this film to. Currently I am in my 4th year of studies. I also started to work on my second movie which will become my thesis. I hope next year I will send that movie to your festival.
