Born on 15.08.1999 in Rotenburg (Wümme). Started to realize various short films during school. After graduating from high school, he spent a year studying philosophy, then studied Arts, Media & Culture with a focus on film and literature in Groningen (NL). During this time, he shot short films, fell in love with documentaries, wrote short stories and screenplays and completed internships as a camera and production assistant for professional film productions at both domestic and international level. From 2021 to 2025 he studied directing at the ifs internationale filmschule Köln. In the second semester, together with Nina Lieverscheidt and their script "Heimgesucht", he was shortlisted for the German Youth Screenplay Award. His third-semester short film "Das Cello" has been shown at various national and international film festivals and has received numerous awards. His second short film "Ben's Birthday" premiered at the 58th Internationalen Hofer Filmtage and was shown at over 20 other festivals to date (e.g. The Norwegian Short Film Festival, Goldener Spatz, Doku Fest, Bolton Film Festival). At the moment, he is developing a comedy series. His projects are currently focusing on the topics of migration, identity and family.
In November 2024 he is awarded the German Youth-Screenwriting Award at the up- and coming Festival in Hannover for his middle length script "Ithaka".
His graduation film "The Sons of Ilir" is one of three nominated films for the First Steps Award of the German Film Academy in the category "Best Short Film".
