Hailing from Champaign, Illinois, acclaimed writer/director Robert Barhite was raised in Waukon, Iowa. His passion for film and television was nurtured by his parents, with shows like "Star Trek," "The Twilight Zone," and "Monty Python's Flying Circus" significantly shaping his early writing endeavors.
Relocating to Portland, Oregon, he completed his B.S. in Political Science at Portland State University. Driven by his writing ambitions, Robert pursued an M.A. in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University, followed by an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from National University.
Drawing inspiration from his upbringing in a small town and his penchant for irony, Robert has created numerous award-winning short films.
