I’m a photographer & filmmaker from Germany, currently based in Munich.
My interests are environmental & ethnographic storytelling, documenting interactions between people and the natural world. I love creating images & films underwater, and I’m trained in Scuba & freediving.
I hold a First Class Honours degree in Marine & Natural History Photography from Falmouth University, where I was specialising in documentary productions. During my studies, I created the short films "Sea-renity" and "Salt in their Veins". Sea-renity is a story about female freedivers who dive in the cold seas around Cornwall for their mental and physical wellbeing. The short film Salt in their Veins captures the life of the Bajo Sea people in Southeast Indonesia, showing the contrast between their traditional and non-traditional fishing livelihoods.
Other work experience includes freelance photography & filmmaking. I have worked with different marine conservation organisations on projects that were featured in news, TV, and exhibitions. I have also worked several years as a scuba instructor.
