Richard Whymark has been working in Austin's live music scene since joining UT's KVRX Radio in 1994, and moving on to working for CapZeyeZ TV and The Austin Music Network in 1997.

He has self-produced/directed four documentary films.
"Fiore - In Love With Clay" premiered at the Trieste Film Festival and has been screened across Europe and the US.

The "Curious Mix of People" project documents Austin's underground music scene in the 90s. It includes a book published by UT Press, a series of zines, and a series of documentary films.

He is currently working on documenting the history of Red River Street in Austin, Texas.
