Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Richard started his professional career as a dancer and model at the age of 18. He worked for fashion brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Eleven Paris and DIM underwear and performed as the principle dancer at the world famous cabaret 'Moulin Rouge' in Paris. Richard also performed with many dance companies around Europe and worked for artists including Duffy and Florence and the Machine. Richard retired from his dance career at 32 in order to pursue acting and filmmaking. From his dance career, he brings a passion for storytelling and working with performers to showcase their gifts.  Richard is partnered with Deirdre McCourt (Actress and Writer) in a small production company which aims to produce three to seven short films a year.
