The Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest is one of a kind contest that strives to connect undiscovered screenwriters with producers and other industry professionals and get them produced!

The Reno-Tahoe Screenplay 2022 cycle is now accepting submissions.


The winning FEATURE AND TV SCREENPLAYS will get a proof-of-concept scene ("trailer") produced (writers keep all rights to the screenplays).

The material submitted must be in English and in PDF format.

Material should be submitted in standard screenplay format, font, spacing and margin.

Adaptations of source material or other literary work must be properly referenced and credited.

Feature scripts that exceed 130 pages may be disqualified.

TV scripts that exceed 75 pages may be disqualified.

Short scripts that exceed 30 pages may be disqualified.

    I like the concept of the contest, and the execution seemed smooth--no deadline slippage noticed. A lot of email but more in the due diligence vein than spam.
