RGFF's unique format presents 25-minute sessions starting on the hour, every hour. with a 35-minute break between each session, you can grab a drink on the rooftop or a bite to eat. With multiple cinemas, RGFF is akin to a multi-stage music festival.

Rules & Terms

1. Entries are open to all Australian filmmakers (living in Australia or overseas).
2. There are no premiere requirements.
3. Your film must have been made in the last five years.
4. You may submit work-in-progress cuts (please include a note in the submission or text at the beginning of your film indicating which components are WIP/Temp)

    Such a great festival, screenings were well curated and the talks that ran throughout the day were a particular highlight. As an attending filmmaker I was well looked after and had a great time. A must-submit festival for any Aus filmmaker who has a short that's done the rounds on the circuit and in dire need of a cool, local screening!

    Had such an amazing time at Reelgood. The unique format of the festival made for a fast and fun day of watching films and chatting with other filmmakers. The talks were also really engaging and I was fortunate enough to participate on one of the panels which was very rewarding. Can't wait for next years :)
