Red Fox International Film Festival - A newborn festival organized by people who believe that movies are more than just entertainment, who wants to find unique minds of real movie creators from all over the world, that is celebrating its second year. RFIFF is here to connect directors, producers, studios, viewers and first just people of all colors, nations, religions and genders. Because here, at RFIFF we believe than on the screen we are all the same and equal. Future of cinema will not start or end here, it will change the world.

Everyone knows that the fox has symbolized cunning and dexterity since ancient times, but this is not about us, few people know that foxes also symbolize quick wits, perseverance and patience. Therefore, we associate ourselves with this animal, because we believe that the future of cinema belongs to those who create something new, do not stop until they reach their goal and know how to endure the whole difficult path that faces every creator in the world of cinema. Our Structure:

The destination of every participant who enters our festival is our annual event in Tbilisi, in Spring 2024 - that is a new spot for our festival, after the decision made by our leading team. Annual program will consider works that went through all the qualification rounds, starting from bi-monthly "official selection" status, and finishing as an "annual selection".

All bi-monthly "official selections" will receive our unique golden laurels, invitation to visit our annual event, and promotional program on our social medias. At the end of every two-month run, our team will select the best works during current period, that will become quarter-finalists. After that selected works need to pass two more rounds, to get to the annual event.

Awards & Prizes

RFIFF has a bi-month qualification system, quarterfinalists, and semi-finals rounds structure with pre-notification about selection and yearly screenings. At RFIFF we think that this structure is very effective, because you don't need to wait for months to get notified about your selection, and you always stay in touch with our festival, getting notified about the next status of your work. Our jury will have enough time to choose the works with great potential.

Stages:

1. Bi-monthly competition (you receive a selected or not selected status during this part of the competition).
2. Monthly winners - Quarter finalists (you receive this status if you become the best or second in chosen category, at the end of each bi-monthly program).
3. Semi-Finalists (you receive this status in next 30 days after the end of your bi-monthly program, and it means that your work needs to make one more step to be included to the annual event)
4. The last stage- is the Annual Event, where our leading team will choose Nominees, Honorable Mentions, and Award Winners in 12 main categories. Please notice that the annual ceremony does not require you submitting only to the main categories. You can compete in any category; the final nominees will be chosen out of all categories.

Rules & Terms

- We accept films of all genres and lengths
- Completion Date after January 2017
- All Non-English Entries Must be subtitled in English
- RFIFF can use trailer/teaser/film poster/stills or BTS for promotional purpose (but do
not release, under any form or circumstances, the full film).
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
- The submitter owns all the rights to the film.
- The submitter cannot withdraw the submission after the official selection or "not selected" announcement.
- Films that don't match the category can be moved to another by our team.
- RFIFF winners that will go into yearly program must send copy of the film without
subtitles and .srt file with English subtitles within 2 weeks from official announcement.
- The final location of the annual ceremony can be changed during this year, if it happens, all the guests will be notified immediately.
