Ramin Khalighi, born on January 10, 1990, in Shiraz, Iran, holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning and Design from Shiraz University and a Master's degree in Cinema from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran. He has completed comprehensive cinematography courses at the Karnameh Institute of Arts and Culture. Ramin has two years of experience as the Cinema Section Editor at Farhangemrooz (Today's Culture), a specialized journal in the humanities. In addition to his editorial work and translation of various books and texts in cinema and the humanities, he has pursued professional photography. In 2024, Ramin directed and edited his first feature-length documentary, titled Inferior Shadows, which was shot without official permission in Iran.
