Ramazan Nanayev is a New York City-based award-winning filmmaker, creative director, entrepreneur and strategist with over 10 years experience in driving social impact through film, media and technology. Of Circassian descent, his early years influenced his passion towards advocacy in human rights and environmental preservation. He is the Founder of Beacon Revolt, a production company developing content to generate impact by driving increased awareness and action related to the environment and social issues. He's also the Founder of Creative Impact Studio, a non-profit designed to empower the voices of diverse creatives and technologists and drive impact. His latest award-winning film, ‘Roads to Olympia’, is a drama that sheds light on discrimination due to gender, sexual orientation, and classism. It has been released on HBO in over 25 countries. Ramazan has been sought by renowned organizations in an advisory/partner capacity including the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, Qualtrics, Accenture, The HOW Institute for Society, British Council, NYU, Ascent Leadership Network, CPJ amongst others. He has worked with well-known senior executives, including Ajay Banga, Angela Ahrendts, Nancy Gibbs and Darren Walker. He’s a Climate Reality Leader, NXT-GEN Fellow For Moral Leadership, UNLEASH Innovation Lab SDGs Talent, and Nudge Global Impact Challenge Fellow. He has produced visual projects for Global Citizen, Aid For Aids, MYgration, The Global Education and Leadership Foundation.
