Raman Irman (Abdolrahman Sarraei), born on September 11, 1997, in Tabriz, Iran, is a distinguished multi-award-winning filmmaker, acclaimed for his versatile roles as an actor, screenwriter, director, producer, and editor.
Raman embarked on his cinematic journey with the Academy Awards Live-action Short Film Visualization in 2022. His exceptional talent and vision soon led him to make history as the youngest filmmaker to establish his own film festival, the Kurdistan International Independent Film Festival, at the age of 23. Since its inception in 2021, he has served as its president, steering the festival to international recognition.
In 2022, Raman co-founded M&R Pictures [us], an independent international company, with Mojo Mona. The company is a dynamic force in production, distribution, and entertainment, showcasing Raman's broad creative and entrepreneurial prowess.
