"RAKSA Feature film collaboration":

THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE PRODUCTION OF AN INDEPENDENT FEATURE FILM THROUGH THE MERGE OF SEVERAL SHORT FILMS SHOT BY DIFFERENT DIRECTORS IN DIFFERENT PLACES IN THE WORLD.

About RAKA-Ciné Paris:
RAKSA-CINE PARIS is a declared association which started its activity in June 2019. The head office of this company is currently located at 31 rue Octave Feuillet - 75116 Paris. RAKSA-CINE PARIS operates in the business sector: Production of motion pictures, Cinema distribution, videos and television programs; video and music editing.
The Festival RAKSA took place in October 2019 and presented 35 short films to the Parisian audience. RAKSA produced two shrot films selected in International festivals around the world. RAKSA has organised several events in Paris with many partners like : CIné-Corps, the CIty of Paris, Paris Animation, Espace Jemmapes, Médiathèque François Mitterand des Ulis, Festival Travelling and Many others...

The films selected will be screened at the short film Agency in Paris under the event " RAKSA Film collaboration". Additional screenings may take place at the Maison des associations in the 16th district of Paris and at RAKSA Film Festival.

Awards & Prizes

The selected films will be part of the feature film project which will be screened in May 2021 in Paris.
RAKSA will assure the distribution of these film with its partners in France and in international festivals.
The selected directors will sign a distribution contract with RAKSA-Ciné Paris, the NGO registered in Paris.

Rules & Terms

-The applicant can submit several short films as long as they fit under the concept of "discrimination and inequality" and/or treat the concept of the body.

-There is no limitation to the genre of the film.
-The maximum duration of the short film is 30 minutes.

- After the selection the director will be contacted to sign a distribution contract with RAKSA-Ciné Paris.

- No alteration to any of the films will be done without consulting with the directors

-All selected directors will have to approve on the final edit of the feature film or RAKSA will have to reconsider the final edit

-After signing the distribution contract, a director has 2 weeks to remove his film from the selection if he wishes.

-RAKSA has the right to show the feature film in its festival, and/or with its partners in France, in order to promote the film.

Any additional detail will be negotiated directly with the director after the selection.
