  • Raindance does not download your film for showing in their festival. They requested a file via email and I missed the two email. I missed the date to get it in so they withdrew me. Don't miss the dates. I had a family emergency and wasn't my responsible self and missed it. Sorry I missed it.

  • I was not able to attend the film festival this year but the communication and patience with the staff was top notch and I will submit again for next year with a new project.

  • Raindance has come to NYC and I'm thrilled that It's Time for Tea was part of this amazing evening of 22 wonderful short films. Most filmmakers (or a representative of the film) were present and were gifted a minute to introduce their films. This is a nice change from the standard Q&A and it shows just how dedicated Tim and company are to the filmmakers, their art and their vision. The Marjorie S. Little Dean Theater is a great place for festival and I hope to see more there in the future. Congrats Raindance and welcome to NY!

At the screening room you could sense the emotion that had been poured into crafting this festival. And that was before the screening even began. After that it was one remarkable film after another. The evening was carefully curated. The venue was large but intimate. It's everything I want from a festival experience. Also, the communication was very clear, with concise instructions for filmmakers. I highly recommend this festival, your art is in good hands with Tim and the Raindance New York team. They really worked hard to make a special event -- and it paid off big time.
