This festival was such a wonderful surprise! From Thomas and Elliot, down to every last volunteer, everyone was so helpful and willing to assist in any way possible. The venue itself is incredible! Being inside the historic Temple theater and watching your film on the big screen is a moment I will never forget. The community of Meridian is bustling with enthusiasm and energy. It's absolutely worth the submission fee! Hope to visit again!

This is a wonderful festival run by great people. Nothing like seeing good independent films play on the big screen in the historic Temple Theater. Hope to be back one day!

These guys really make you feel welcome! There are a few REALLY nice stand-out Mississippi festivals and this is definitely one of them. Our film was screened in a theater built in the 1920's, made new filmmaker friends (and strengthened relationships with existing friends), and enjoyed a steady supply of food and drink from the Rails to Reels staff. Don't expect this level of friendliness from most festivals. :)
