Film has always been a way for me to process my emotions and understand the world around me. Growing up, I’d often write stories and make short films with my family and friends. Even though I took a different direction during college, after getting married and moving around the country, I found myself on a film set and instantly felt at home. I started acting, but kept gravitating toward the crew behind the camera. I took in everything I could and learned just by listening to everyone around me. I began writing again and finally took the plunge and directed my first short. I hope that my films can help others like me who sometimes need the screen to really understand the world as well as themselves. I am thankful to God for my journey as well as this art form that allowsy me to share pieces of my heart.
